Welcome

Dear Community Friends, Entrepreneurs, and Corporate Partners:

The innovative website is redesigned to make our new features easier to use and more meaningful for you. In today’s economy social media has taken center stage so we changed the look and feel for our Social Network Enthusiasts, but be assured that all the features you've come to rely on are still available, plus more! So think of our new website as a collaboration and communication platform that you can use to discuss various topics such as your program of study in college, get answers to common questions, share goals and interests, and build your professional network.

Our new website can market corporate brands to well over 2 million customers annually through e-marketing, strategic (targeted) marketing campaign, utilizing page ads, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Flickr, Blogs, Flip Book, e-newsletter, and other social media tools, within the United States and abroad.

Also, a featured enhancement on our new website is that a company’s brand is marketed from the time the site is initialized. Viewers locally, nationally, and internationally are able to view your corporate brands, products, and community services instantly.

More importantly, exhibitors (at certain corporate levels) are listed as corporate partners on our homepage. Other exhibitor levels and advertisers are featured in Business Center for additional corporate exposure.

We also changed our email addresses, so all JBead Foundation email will come from xxxx@jbeadfoundation.org. When this happens please add jbeadfoundation.org to your trusted sender list in your email provider. There will be instructions: For Outlook; For Gmail; For Yahoo, Hotmail, MSN and others.

There is more! At the bottom of each page you can contact us, report a problem with our website or more importantly, ask a question or share a thought. Everyone has an idea and this is how we will create our social network blogs! So, we decided to make the whole world a part of our E-Newsletter by having people share ideas about what is happening in their community? Once approved for public viewing, these thoughts are featured on Community Faces and our Business Center to showcase your ideas to worldwide audiences!

But I would like to pause for a moment to invite all of you to our inaugural two-day research convening October Day/TBA, 2012! The premier forum in Los Angeles, California for lecture series, plenary sessions, individual papers and poster presentations, among University and non-university based research and policy organizations, professional societies/trade associations, Government agencies, Foundations, Publishers, Consulting firms (research and policy-related), Technology companies, and much, much, more!

The Center for Health Services Research (CHSR) Fund was established by JBead Foundation, Inc., Community Outreach Program in 2011 as an outcome of the historic health reform legislation signed into law on March 23, 2010.

The purpose of the CHSR Fund is to reach out, connect with prominent researchers, university faculty, students, policy and decision makers, and leading experts annually, and invite each party to discuss the latest trends, share ideas, and engage in thoughtful dialogue about health care delivery and obesity prevention strategies in our country. The CHSR Fund annual two-day research convening/conference will produce discussions, lecture series, plenary sessions, individual papers and poster presentations, among University and non-university based research and policy organizations, professional societies/trade associations, Government agencies, Foundations, Publishers, Consulting firms (research and policy-related) and Technology companies. The CHSR Fund will gather policymakers, thought-leaders, educators, students, and the public to inspire local and worldwide discussions that discover ways which improve both the health of everyone in America, and their health care-how it’s delivered, how it’s paid for, and how well it does for patients and their families.

Our inaugural Conference theme is "Beyond Equal Care: How Health Systems Can Impact Racial and Ethnic Health Disparities."

The CHSR Fund invites the community to become a part of this momentous two-day workshop conference. This is an opportunity to bring together our strong community to help create change in the delivery of health care services to ethnic minority communities who are impacted by: (1) racial and ethnic health care inequity; (2) high rates of obesity; and (3) low rates of integrated health care. Together, we can begin to change Los Angeles and America into a health conscious society.

We look forward to meeting all of you in Los Angeles, California, October Day/TBA, 2012.

For more information about the two-day conference, please go to Call for Papers. For Sponsorship, Exhibitor Space, Advertiser opportunities, please go to Events.

Sincerely,

Jeffery L. Butler, Ph.D., CEO
