Each objective is designed to use our funding opportunities to assist students with educational needs that will result in promoting economic growth within low-income and diverse communities.

Our three key policy - oriented areas to achieve the mission:

Education - to ensure our nation's students are a top budget priority to receive the skills and resources they need to succeed in our competitive economy;

Economic Development - through investments that create better jobs, homeownership, entrepreneurship and wealth accumulation; and

Public Health – to promote culturally specific approaches that reduce cultural and ethnic disparities in health.
