CALL FOR SEMINAR PROPOSALS

JBead Foundation First Annual Wealth Building and Entrepreneurship Seminar:

  • Provides a forum for information exchange experience sharing on current issues important to the business community;
  • Provides a way of reaching community leaders, businesses, corporations, and higher education, who work directly with citizens in the community;
  • Serves as a meeting ground for the business community in Southern California;
  • Utilizes the tremendous professional talent of national and local professionals.

Submitting Workshop Proposals:

  • Entrepreneurs, businesses, community leaders, corporations, higher education leaders, and others are strongly encouraged to submit proposals.
  • An individual or group may submit more than one proposal.
  • Presenters are encouraged to provide their own media/audio visual equipment.
  • Registration fees will be paid or waived for presenters. Presenters will also be provided with special seating during luncheon and invited to special VIP reception following seminar.
  • All presentations are limited to 1 hour and 15 minutes. Two-part workshops will be considered for a total of 2.5 hours of presentation time
  • All proposals are to be submitted electronically to Dr. Jeffery Butler @ jbeadfoundation@aol.com and jbutler40560@yahoo.com in 12pt font by xxx,xxx,xxx.
  • All proposals must include all the following:

    1. Title of Workshop
    2. Target Audience (Corporations, Business owners, Program Directors, Community leaders, Students, Higher Education, Human Resource Depts., or other)
    3. Maximum number of attendees
    4. Short synopsis of workshop content
    5. Detailed description of workshop
    6. Audio/Visual equipment and room set-up preferences
    7. Brief biography/qualifications of presenter (resumes are acceptable)
    8. Full contact information including mailing address, phone number, fax number, and email address
  • JBead Foundation Workshop Committee Chair will notify selected individuals/groups no later than XXX,XXX,XXX.
